Since 1968 our goal has been simple: build quality RVs that provide the best value in the marketplace. Palomino Camping Trailer construction began in 1968 with the dream of Mr. Vern Landey. Mr. Landey had been a tent trailer distributor for several years when he felt he could design and produce better quality units than were currently being offered to the public. He designed units that were convenient and offered convenient floor plans at affordable prices.

As the demand for Palomino grew, so did Vanguard Industries, Mr. Landey’s company, and they added new divisions to their distribution centers. In 2002, Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc., which allowed Palomino to grow more rapidly.
